Choose the setup that best fits your build workflow.
The public version of Reflex++ is free for evaluation and non-commercial use. Select one of the options below to install the SDK and start building. See our pricing plans for commercial licensing and source code access.
Use of Reflex++ is subject to the End User Licence Agreement.
Install the SDK and create an app in under 2 minutes.
Watch 2-minute demoRun the script below with your preferred install location as the final argument, or without the argument to install in the current working directory.
The script creates a reflex_public/ folder and adds it to your PATH.
Restart Terminal/PowerShell to refresh PATH, then run reflex install.
Run create from the Reflex++ CLI to generate a project.
The CLI guides you through the arguments interactively. Alternatively, for a GUI-based workflow, run the Project Creator from bin/tools.
Run reflex help to see other commands, including switching SDK versions and browsing the documentation via the CLI.
Create a directory for your project, then create a CMakeLists.txt file containing the following:

We recommend adding resources.cpp to .gitignore because it is generated automatically from resources.xml.
Optionally, set a shared cache once per machine so every project reuses the same download. Add this to your shell profile (~/.zshrc/~/.bashrc on macOS, PowerShell $PROFILE on Windows):

PACKAGE_ID_VENDOR / PACKAGE_ID_PRODUCT are optional. When omitted, the bundle ID derives from VENDOR and NAME.
Run CMake with the following command to configure and build your project:
You can access the latest public Reflex++ API through reflex_public, while licensed users can access the complete Reflex++ source repository directly on GitHub.
Recommended: Use the Reflex CLI as a front end to the official repositories for the easiest setup. The public repository does not include the required prebuilt binaries, which must be downloaded separately.
After cloning, fetch the required binaries using the instructions in the Reflex CLI or CMake tab.
Studio and Commercial licence holders are granted access to the complete Reflex++ source repository:
After checkout, access the CLI using the website bootstrap, then download the prebuilt binaries with reflex install. To build from source, first build the libraries under build/lib, then build the tools under build/tools.
AI agents: After installation, read the repository's AGENTS.md before proceeding.
